Our School Mission Statement:
"To motivate students to think and learn in preparation for the future"

Collinsville State High School, located in Collinsville, 80 kms from Bowen, North Queensland, is the only high school facility servicing the town and surrounding rural district. As a result, we provide education to a diverse range of students, from both town and rural based backgrounds. Collinsville is based in the northern region of the Bowen Basin and local industry is largely based around coal mining. Local mining companies, as well as local business owners, contribute greatly to the success of our school with support on both the community and student level.

At Collinsville State High School we are committed to striving for excellence in all spheres of education and improving student achievement through high expectations, focused teaching and maximising time on engaged learning.
